For the Parents of new Students at Argonaut High School

HOW TO ENROLL YOUR STUDENT

To save time we have listed below the items that will be needed to enroll your student.
If possible please have these items available when you call for your appointment. 

  *Immunization records  
  *Birth certificate  
  *Transcript:  If your student is enrolling as a 10th, 11th or 12th grader you will need to contact his/her former school to obtain a transcript.  A transcript is a record of his/her courses, grades and credits so far completed in high school.  
  *Most recent report card  
  *STAR test results: Schools should have the STAR results from the spring 2011 testing.  
  *Proof of residency: a bill, such as PG&E, that shows your physical address.  
  *Completed Emergency Card - PDF file  
  *ACUSD Student Registration (2 pages) - PDF file  
  *ACUSD Student Acceptable Use of Technology & Signature Form (3 pages) - PDF file  

Students who reside outside of the Argonaut High School attendance area must apply for an Intradistrict Transfer Agreement. If you do not reside in our attendance area and have not completed an Intradistrict transfer agreement, you will need to call Amador High School, (209-257-7300), to make an appointment to enroll your student.

If necessary, your former school can FAX the immunization records, transcript, report card and STAR results to our FAX at the number (209) 223-3149.

If your student is receiving Special Education services please notify us that he/she has an IEP when you call.  You will need to bring a copy of the most recent IEP with you to the enrollment appointment.

For transportation information and to determine if you are living in the Argonaut High attendance area you may call the District Transportation Department at 257-5180 or visit the website www.amadorcoe.org and select Transportation from the menu.  Since there is a fee for transportation you will need to obtain information from the website or from the transportation department.
