AERIES PARENT PORTAL
Parents now have access to the Grading system used on the school campuses.
Registration is done according to the directions that are provided on the District website.

COLLEGE ADMISSIONS TESTING
SAT and ACT Testing in Amador County 2011-12

  Registration materials are available in the counseling office and must be postmarked by the registration deadline. Register online and prepare for the SAT at sat.collegeboard.com and for the ACT at www.actstudent.org. Fee waivers and Fee reductions are available for SAT, ACT and AP Exam fees. Students who have an approved Free/Reduced lunch application on file for the current school year may be eligible. See your Counselor for more information.

FINANCIAL AID FOR SENIORS - January 23rd Monday

   Seniors who are applying to or plan to apply to college can start their application for financial aid now.  Information is being presented to seniors this month regarding this process.  Financial Aid Night will be held on Monday January 23rd at 7:00PM in the MPR and will give important information to parents and students about how to apply for Financial Aid.  If possible, seniors and their parents should attend this evening together as the FAFSA, (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), requires information from both.  For information go to fafsa.ed.gov . There will be a question and answer period. A financial aid specialist from the California Student Aid Commission will be presenting this workshop.

“Cash for College” workshops are scheduled throughout California. Those who wish to complete their financial aid application, the FAFSA, may receive one-to-one help at these workshops. Go to calgrants.org to find a workshop near you.

Assessment for Los Rios - Cosumnes River College
The Assessment Test from CRC will be given on March 22, 12:15 to 3:15 at Amador High School in the Cafeteria.
